Thank you! June 16

Dear Life Sciences Supermind,

Thank you so much for participating in the Life Sciences Supermind collective intelligence exercise! You collectively submitted more than 130 contributions and cast over 700 votes. We greatly appreciate the quality, creativity, and breadth of the contributions submitted. Congratulations on all of your fantastic work!

While the online platform portion of the exercise has formally concluded, we look forward to continuing to engage with you in the coming months as we shift to sharing these insights and putting them to action with key stakeholders, the global scientific community, and the general public. Please be on the lookout for further information on the ways you can participate in this phase of our collaboration, which will include:

Supermind Reports
The MIT Center for Collective Intelligence, Community Biotechnology Initiative at MIT Media Lab, and MilliporeSigma will be the sharing outputs of our Supermind exercise through a series of one-page Supermind Reports correlating with each challenge area. These one-pagers will synthesize the ideas contributed during the online exercise, leading up to the release of a comprehensive report on the complete insights and outlined solutions, planned for the end of the year.

Catalyst Conversations
We will broaden the conversation around each challenge area through a series of virtual events called Catalyst Conversations. During these events, expert panelists will take an in-depth look at the current state-of-affairs in the relevant topic area, share data-driven insights and discuss the latest innovations and proposed solutions. Kicking off in July, each Catalyst Conversation includes audience Q&A and the release of the correlating Supermind Report on that topic.

We will notify you as we approach Supermind Report release and Catalyst Conversation event registration dates, and we invite you to share these outputs with your personal networks.

If you are interested in taking a direct action role with either of these activities, or any other methods of sharing and moving our work forward, please reach out to myself or Meraly Therrien (meraly.therrien@milliporesigma.com).

Thank you again for all of your hard work! Kindly let us know if you have any questions or comments. We’re excited for what’s ahead.

Best wishes,

David Sun Kong, Ph.D.
