Facilitator's note, May 13

Dear Life Sciences Supermind,

So far, we’ve had more than 100 contributions and 100 comments on the platform—thank you so much to all of you who have participated thus far! These are the final few days to submit—the deadline for contributions is Sunday, May 16, 11:59 PM Eastern US time. So, please do spend some time in the remaining days to contribute and interact with your colleagues!

As a reminder, in this phase, we’re looking for contributions that are outside of your domain of expertise. If you’re comfortable with all the domain areas, we’re asking you to push your creativity even further. We’d love to see a final push from you all!

In particular, it would be wonderful to see more energy around our new category on how best to support India and help end the current pandemic. Additional ideas around Science Communication, Disruptive Technologies, or Supply Chains would also be welcome!

The last of our three Super Sessions also will be next week:

  • Super Session: Public Health Preparedness, Sciences, and Technologies
    Tuesday, May 18
    5:30pm-7pm Central European Time
11:30 am-1:00 pm Eastern US Time

Super Sessions are virtual, small group discussions that provide an opportunity to connect with one another and engage in rich dialogue around a designated topic. If you would like to participate in the final Super Session, please email Meraly Therrien Meraly.Therrien@milliporesigma.com by Sunday, May 16.

During the first part of next week, our team will organize your contributions into clusters. Starting next Friday, May 21, we will ask you to vote on which clusters you think are most impactful and feasible.

Thank you again so much for your continued energy and activity on the platform!

Best Regards,
David
